Test Shot 1) the colour purple-

My first test shot I chose was of this beautiful purple flower I found in the beds of the garden. I thought the pattern and texture of it was very unique to the other flowers there and its bright contrast to the greens was very noticeable.

Test Shot 2) dandelion-

This test shot is focusing on the detailed petals of this dandelion, as well as the vibrant yellow colour which makes this weed stand out in a great bead of flowers which I thought was interesting as it contributes to the overall pattern of the garden.

Test Shot 3) a touch of blue-

What I like about this test shot is simply how pretty the flowers are. Each little flower has its delicate petals and I love how the bright blue colour against the bright green of the leaves.

Test Shot 4) leaves in focus-

What I like about this test shot is the focus on the leaves, all the leaves together act as a pattern while each have their own individual texture which I tried to highlight in this shot.

Test Shot 5) Names engraved-

Although this photo isn’t to do with nature I felt it should be included. The texture of the engraved names and the patterns of letters are worth note as a part of Ireland’s history as the names are those who died on the Titanic and are the purpose of the gardens themselves.
