Location 3)- Patterns and Textures- Nature Photography
For my last location chose I wanted to have the focus be on nature, to go on power with the research I did on Anne Belmont (see other post).
But before I decided where to go I decide to first brain storm ideas of what in nature I wanted to take pictures of-
Then I picked a location I decided to go with the Titanic Memorial Garden at city hall in Belfast,
The gardens are on two levels, the upper level which has a featured plinth with the inscribed names of those who died on the Titanic.
Positives-
Features a range of flowers and natural features to take pictures of.
Is local to take photos at as its places outside city hall.
This is a good representation of local history and culture paying homage to the past.
Is a local hub for visitors and workers as a bit of nature in the surrounding city.
Negatives-
Quite busy as it’s popular with everyone.
Hard to take multiple photos of the same natural features in one place.
A more urbanized version of a natural habitat.
Once I decided I defiantly wanted to pick this location I then went and took my test shots (see other post)
