Locations 2) Patterns and Textures- Household textures

For my second location I chose the theme of home and household.

“Home is the place where, when you have to go there, they have to take you in.” - Robert Frost

Creative Possibilities

For this topic I had a brain storm to the different approaches I could take.

Then after brain storming it was time to evaluate the positives and negatives of choosing this as an options.

Positives-

• This locations is as local as it gets so there is a constant opportunity to take photographs.

• Every home is unique in its own way so there is opportunity for diversity.

• Every room of the house has a wide range of textures and patterns.

Negatives-

• Not the most adventurous chose.

• Once you’ve taken photos of one room it’s hard to take photos of it again.

I decided to go ahead with the chose. For my test shots I decided to focus on the textures and patterns that are generally present in the kitchen.
